A day in the live of a child living in a informal settlement
There I was siting in my bed waiting to get out of my shack. It was flowing with rain, my siblings and I were freezing. Now myself and my 3 sisters and brothers where off to school. I had to packed all the lunches. Unfortunately I did not get any food myself for school. We walk 5km from our shack to our school. At my school we only have 10 text books for 30 children. Most of the children go home and study under a lamppost or worst case they don’t study at all. I fetched my siblings from school and we all started to study. I wish that there where lights,food, fresh and more water and bigger shack or even better a house. Most important parents. My youngest sibling needed the toilet, but it was filthy and there was trash and dirt all around the toilet. She said that she did not want to go to the toilet.
